The Certified Financial Planner™ Web-based Program

The CIFP offers a four course Web-based Certified Financial Planner™ program leading to the internationally recognized CFP™ designation. This program provides individuals with the necessary knowledge and practical skills to begin a career in this growing profession. This program consists of four core courses and a final program examination. Upon successful completion of the program examination, graduates satisfy the education requirement necessary for sitting the Certified Financial Planner™ Examination administered by Financial Planners Standards Council.
Successful completion of the CFP™ program is one of four steps to becoming a Certified Financial Planner; Education, Examination, Experience and Ethics. Students who receive the CIFP Certificate in Financial Planning have fulfilled the educational requirements to obtain the internationally recognized Certified Financial Planning (CFP™) certificate mark granted by The Financial Planners Standards Council (FPSC). Upon completion of our CFP™ program you are eligible to write the CFP™ examination administered by the FPSC. In conjunction, or following your education you must also complete two years of related work experience. Prior to being granted the CFP™ designation you must also agree to abide by the Code of Ethics as set out by the FPSC.
